Dear New Resident

I am very pleased to welcome you to Little Bealings. As you may well have already discovered, a great deal of information about the village is to be found on our website, including a history of the village and links to other local organisations, such as All Saints Church and Bealings School. We also have Bealings Village Hall, Sports Court and Playing Field

A very informative Fynn Lark News Magazine is delivered at the start of every month (except August and January) to every house in Little Bealings, Great Bealings, Culpho and Playford and you can find previous issues on the link.

Details of Events at the Angela Cobbold Hall are published in the Fynn Lark News.

The Parish Council meets at least 6 times a year, usually in The Angela Cobbold Hall in The Street. You are welcome to come and listen to meetings, or to speak about a matter on the meeting Agenda. All the Agendas and Minutes are published. Please contact our Clerk, Carol Ramsden, if you have any queries for the Parish Council: Tel: 07731 456133 Email: littlebealingspc@btinternet.com

If you would like to receive regular emails about local news, events and services do send your email address to bealingsplayfordnews@googlemail.com

Walking along our footpaths and using the beautiful Fynn Valley Walk is a great way to meet people. You will find a lot of information on our walks page  and do look at All Saints website - not only for details of their weekly walks group, but information on services and to contact our priest, the Rev Gary Jones.

Lastly – more mundane but essential! – bins are collected on Friday mornings, alternate weeks for recycling and garden waste, and general waste View your bin collection date - Section 1 - My East Suffolk

Do get in touch if you think I can help as you settle into our village.

Best wishes

Ian Ransome - Chairman, Little Bealings Parish Council
